1. General Provisions

• These Terms of Use (“Terms”) define the rules for using the mobile application PetiFit (“App”).
• Acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy is required to use the App.
• The App is an informational and educational tool. It is not a diagnostic or medical application.
• The App is operated by PetiFit Sp. z o.o., ul. ENGESTRÖMA 10, 60-571 Poznań, Poland.

2. Definitions

• User – a natural person using the App.
• Pet Profile – data entered by the User regarding their animal, including health, nutrition, and photos.
• Data – all information processed within the App, including account details, pet data, photos, location, and activity.

3. Conditions of Use

• The App is intended for adults (16+).
• The App does not replace veterinary consultation or diagnosis.
• All data and recommendations available in the App are for informational purposes only and should not be considered veterinary advice.
• In case of doubts regarding a pet’s health, well-being, or nutrition, the User should consult a veterinarian.
• The App may contain bugs and temporary service interruptions.

AI Features Disclaimer

The App uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to scan documents (e.g., veterinary prescriptions, health booklets) and suggest data entries. While we strive for accuracy, AI interpretations may contain errors.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any scanned or suggested data (including medication names, dosages, dates, or recommendations) against the original physical document before saving it in the App or acting upon it.

4. Registration and Account

• Login is available via e-mail, Apple, or Google account.
• The User agrees to provide true and accurate information.
• Account deletion can be requested by contacting contact@petifit.com.

5. App Features

• Creating and editing a pet profile (data, photos, health, nutrition, and activity history).
• OCR and AI-based text recognition from images (e.g., pet health booklet).
• Nutrition analysis and meal planning.
• Notifications and reminders (e.g., medications, vet visits).
• Community elements (opinions, comments, profile sharing).
• AI features are supportive only and cannot be treated as a medical diagnosis.

6. Permissions and Access

The App may request access to the device’s camera, photos, location, notifications, or storage. These permissions are used solely for the operation of specific features. Permissions can be revoked in system settings; however, this may limit certain functionalities.

7. Payments

• Basic features of the App are free.
• Some features may be available under a paid subscription model.
• Prices and payment terms are displayed in the App or respective app store before purchase.

8. Liability

• Information and recommendations in the App are for assistance only. PetiFit is not responsible for any decisions made based on this information.
• The User is solely responsible for data entered in the App.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetiFit is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the App.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

Detailed data protection rules are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

For bug reports, feedback, or complaints, contact us at contact@petifit.com. We aim to respond within 14 business days.

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms by posting a new version in the App or notifying Users via e-mail.

12. Final Provisions

• In matters not regulated by these Terms, Polish law applies.
• The App does not guarantee full availability or data accuracy.
